"But they're just kids!"

To (some) Parents:

A well-behaved child is well-behaved because his or her parents taught their child to be so.  The lame, sorry excuse that "they're just kids" to cover up their mischief is totally unacceptable.  It's as if being rowdy and rude to people, steal money from purses, damage other people's property, call other kids names, bully other kids, play pranks on people is okay because they're just kids.

If you can't discipline your own kid, it tells volumes of what kind of person you are.  Clearly, you aren't a person who's capable of bringing up a mannered, productive member of society.

I'll be sorry to see what kind of scumbag your kid will grow up into.
